We are a small private beachfront community -- our roads are private and only one lane wide.  No other community in the area has private roads.  Summer is a busy time at the Shore - and it is nice being able to walk or bike the Point without the fear of being run over by a speedy driver.  Additionally, as we are a peninsula - there is a waterview from wherever you are on the Point.

At Latimer Point, every home is just a hop, skip, and jump from our white sand beaches.  The Connecticut Shore is rocky - which means rocky beaches.  However, our beaches are white sand - which means you CAN have sandy toes and sunkissed noses. 

Most other beach communities have limited open spaces and water access.  That is not the case at Latimer Point where there is plenty of both.  Picnic tables are throughout the Point -- giving you a chance to relax and enjoy each view or water space.  Green spaces invite kite flying, soccer games, or tumbling.  Unlike most other beach communities, we govern ourselves similar to a condominium -- which is why our open spaces and water access is under common ownership -- and this is what makes us a one-of-a-kind  beachfront community as there is no other place like Latimer Point in the Connecticut area.
